My Reinvented Recipes: Kamote Maja

Kamote (Sweet Potato) Maja


1 cup cornstarch, dissolve in 1/2 cup water
2 cups coconut milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 cup kamote, cooked and mashed
1/2 cup sugar
   corn kernels (opt)
   raisins
  grated cheese




Procedure:

1. Simmer cocunut milk and kamote.
2. Put dissolved cornstarch, sugar, milk and corn kernels.
3. Stir occasionally.
4. Pour in desired container.
5. Drop raisins and let it cool. Pour grated cheese and put it in the refrigerator.



My Reinvented Recipes: Pochero

Pochero

1/2 kl chicken (pork or fish)
1 pack tomato sauce
4 big potatoes
3 pcs saba
5 pcs baguio beans
   pechay
   onions, chopped
   garlic, minced
   salt, pepper to taste
   magic sarap
   chicken cube
                                                        oil

Procedure:

1. Fry potatoes and saba. Set aside.
2. Fry chicken until lightly brown.
3. Put onions and garlic.
4. Mix in tomato sauce,add some water. Let it simmer.
5. Put beans, potatoes and saba. Let it simmer.
6. Put in chicken cube. Add salt and pepper to taste.
7. Add magic sarap and pechay.
8. Serve.

My Reinvented Recipes: Pork Steak




Hope you would like my recipes. As a mom, we used to hold the budget for the family. So, I usually experiment recipes and reinvented them so that I can fix a budget for the whole week yet providing a good, healthy food especially the most favorite ones in our home. Hope you like it. 

Pork Steak w/ Potato(all-time favorite viand)

1kl liempo,cut into thin strips
1/4 kl potatoes,cut in circles
2 big onions
2 tbsp garlic
2 pcs calamansi or a lemon
salt
pepper
soy sauce
pork cube
magic sarap

Procedure:
1.Put pork into pan with little water.Let it simmer until water dissolves.Fry pork until golden brown, add a little oil if dry.
2.Saute half of onions,garlic and pork cube.
3.Put soy sauce.Put 8 cups of water and let it simmer for an hour or until water thickens lightly and pork tenders.
4.Add potatoes.(opt cause its our favorite) Cook.
5.Add salt and pepper to taste.
6.Add lemon or calamansi juice and the rest of onions.
7.Serve and enjoy.
